Another X file

Yesterday one of the users complained that one of our application softwares made her system hang for no reason.. after that user called, more and more users started to complain about the same problem. one even said she actually faced the same problem few weeks ago. This has become a big deal after the department manager involved. So, the department manager started to write an email to the whole world saying that her backloads were due to the application software problem.... my supervisor was so worried about it, she actually dial in from home to simulate the problem but no luck to get it right.

Early in the morning my supervisor called. She wants me to follow up this issue(as usual) as she is on leaves for 2 days starting today. The way she told me was... very very kin teo, i got a feeling that if i cannot solve it by today, our company will tutup pintu! ok, i have to understand that i need to get everything right at this moment or else all the arrows will be pointing at ME! So, i went down to see the user and ask her to simulate the problem to me. 1st try was.... ok. No problem at ALL. The user started to scream "this is not possible, it doesn't work yesterday!". okay, let me try at another workstation with the same job. The result was... It works again! The user was speechless... In order to prove that the application software has no problem, i tested the samething over 5 different workstations and none of them give me problem. All the users kept quiet and pretend nothing has happened. I m a bit not happy with them.. i suspected this was an excuse given by them coz they cannot deliver their tasks on time.
Come on larr, if you have to do it, just do it !!
