my colleague told me that next year he will send her daughter to the mathematic class coz he said this will be a good foundation for her. His daughter is only 3.5 years old larr.... But somehow most of us didn't agree with him. We asked him not to be so kiasu. I think he is a bit "kek sim" with our comments. So, he sent the following article to us. Just to tell us that he is better than others...

中國東北瀋陽市一位父親「望女成鳳」心切，女兒一出生便「施重手」予以密集訓練，女兒剛滿月，就被丟進泳池裡學游泳、兩個月大要學倒立、1歲1個月開始練習溜冰，兩歲要背誦古文、化學元素周期表和日常英語會話。

　據香港《東方日報》報導，家住瀋陽瀋河區的李姓男子為了栽培女兒，特別空出一間房間作為「教育基地」，並在房內兩面牆上親手寫滿《三字經》、《百家姓》、《千字文》、《朱子治家格言》、《大學》、《中庸》、英語字母表和化學元素周期表。每天上午8時起，現年兩歲半的女童要從一面牆背到另一面牆，背完正好90分鐘，下午則必須練習體操和溜冰。

　李姓男子表示，他並未對女兒解釋這些古文的內容，背誦的目的在於讓女兒的大腦提前輸入訊息，提早積累詞彙，好讓其認知和理解能力快速發展。

　李姓男子指出，有一點非常重要，就是必須讓女兒接觸成人的規範語彙，而不要對女兒講「兒語」。他要求女兒說話使用包含主詞、動詞和受詞的完整語句。
